AM I ABLE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE LAYAWAY?
YES, you can have as many items on layaway as you would like but a 10% per month payment is required on each layaway.
DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT WHEN ORDERING?
Yes. An account is required to track your layaway history, payment history, and shipping information.
HOW CAN I CONFIRM LAYAWAYGUNS RECEIVED MY ORDER?
You will see an "Order Confirmed" page immediately afterwards and will receive an email confirmation shortly after your order has been placed.
HOW MUCH ARE SHIPPING CHARGES?
Shipping charges vary and can only be determined at checkout after you enter your address information. We only use UPS as our shipping carrier.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE MY ORDER TO SHIP?
All items will ship within 2 business days after your last payment is made and we will provide tracking once the label is confirmed.
I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL MY LAYAWAY. IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?
If for any reason you need to cancel a layaway before the item ships there is a 20% restocking fee. If the item has already shipped, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping, and the same 20% restocking fee. If the item has already been transferred to you from the receiving FFL, we are not able to return the item.
I FORGOT TO PAY ON MY LAYAWAY?
IS IT STILL ACTIVE?
Layaway Guns requires a 10% payment to be made every 30 days. After 30 days we give an extra 15 day grace period. If we are still not able to get in touch with you after 45 days your layaway will default due to non payment and put back out for sale. There are, unfortunately, no refunds if this occurs.
DO MY ITEM HAVE ANY TYPE OF WARRANTY?
Almost all new firearms and optics have a manufacturer warranty in place in case something is wrong with your new item. As of now, Layawayguns does not provide a warranty on any items since all are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact the manufacturer if you're having defects, including cosmetic defects, with your new item.
I WANT TO ADD SOMETHING ELSE TO MY ORDER.
If you have found another item you would like to layaway, please start a new layaway. We are unable to modify orders that have already been placed.
I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, AM I ABLE TO START A LAYAWAY?
We only ship within the United States.
AM I ABLE TO PLACE AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE?
We are unable to complete phone orders over the phone since that would prevent you from making online payments.
I LIVE IN A STATE WITH MAGAZINE RESTRICTIONS AND WANT TO BUY A GUN?
Please confirm the item you layaway is in compliance with your state of residence. We do not ship non-compliant items to any state, regardless of LE, Military, or FFL credentials.
AM I ABLE TO PICK UP MY GUN IN THE STORE IF I AM CLOSE TO OPELIKA, ALABAMA?
Of course! We would love to meet you and it's a great way to avoid a transfer fee! Before making the drive, please remember that background checks could take up to 3 business days to complete, and up to 10 days for individuals under 21, due to current ATF regulations.
I WANT TO RETURN A PURCHASE.
If for any reason you need to return an item before the receiving FFL has transferred you the gun, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping, and the same 20% restocking fee. If the item has already been transferred to you from the receiving FFL, we are not able to return the item. Any issues with your purchase must be taken up with the manufacturer.
AM I ABLE TO PRE-ORDER AN ITEM?
Please add to your “wishlist” notification so when it becomes available you will be notified via email. In order to find "out of stock" items to add to your wishlist you will need to unselect "hide out of stock" in the search fields. We are unable to accept pre-orders since we cannot guarantee when the item will become available nor the pricing of it.
DO WE COLLECT SALES TAX?
We collect Sales tax in our physical presence in the state of Alabama and any state the economic nexus applies.
